Written and accurate as at: Oct 15, 2018 Current Stats & Facts

A BIG congratulations to our Managing Director Tony Pati on his 2018 Millennium3 National Community Service Award Finalist nomination.

This is a particularly important and prestigious award and Tony’s nomination recognises his many years of kindness, caring and ongoing work and financial support of orphan children, disabled children, the underprivileged, sick, displaced and elderly in Bali.

We are all very proud of the ongoing charitable and selfless work Tony does in Bali. The stories he relates about his regular visits to orphanages and hospices in Bali are very inspiring, touching and heartfelt.

Launch of ‘Cakes 4 Kids Charity Bali’
Tony is committed to doing his best to make a difference to the lives of orphan and disabled children and people who need it most in Bali. He has recently launched a charity called 'Cakes 4 Kids Charity Bali’ which he is passionate about and explains the reasons why below.

Tony’s story - “never get tired of doing little things for others. Sometimes, those little things occupy the biggest part of their hearts”

I have been involved in supporting some Orphanages and fund-raising charities for disabled children and displaced people in Bali for many years.  I do this in my private time and in person when I am in Bali 3 or 4 times a year. I spend time with the children and purchase items such as much needed food, clean water, clothes, medical supplies, toiletries and school books. These beautiful children live in cramped rooms, some don’t attend school, don’t get regular medical or dentist check-ups and at times are suffering health issues. They are not only missing the love and protection of parents but also the essentials in life such as regular food and clean water.

On my most recent visit to Bali, I was introduced to some beautiful elderly people at an Aged Care Hospice in Denpasar. The visit was both heart-warming and heart breaking especially as many of these wonderful people had not seen a family member for many years and living in conditions that no-one should. They don’t have regular access to badly needed medical care or medical supplies which is simply horrible.  In conjunction with the generosity of some friends and family I purchased some food, basic medical supplies, drinking water and other items while I was there but they need a lot, lot more…including new bed linen, clothes, basic medication, food and may other essential items to make their lives just a little more comfortable.

‘Cakes 4 Kids Bali’ Initiative – as part of the support for orphan children in Bali, I have launched an initiative called ‘Cakes 4 Kids Bali.’ This initiative is designed to put a smile on little orphan children’s faces by surprising them with either cute cupcakes, birthday cakes or cakes to share. Many of these children have never celebrated their birthdays nor had a birthday cake or little cupcakes so it will be rewarding and amazing to see their little smiles when we deliver the cakes to them. We plan to make cakes and deliver them to different Orphanages around Bali monthly but hope to raise enough money to do it on a more regular basis.

Donations - if you would like to donate any amount even $10 will make a difference. Please contact me on 0401 461 019 or email me and I will provide you with more details and bank account information.

I will be travelling to Bali on Monday 15th October and any donation will make a big difference the children and people who need it most.
